Even if you are the best orator, it is impossible to please everybody in the auditorium, there will be always somebody who would say that it was boring, or leave earlier, or just does not like the form which it was presented. It is a mistake keep trying to please everybody in the auditorium.
The right intention of speaking in public is to pass your opinion about the subject, even your opinion is against others who are there to hear you.
Even if you are trying to sell a product or an idea, you will never obtain the unanimity. For instance in the politics, where there are people who knows a lot how to speak in public. We've never had a Politician that won the elections with a 100% of the votes.
